Ethiopia has prepared a roadmap that enables to guide the science and technology sector more effectively.
The ministry of science and technology stated that Ethiopia has registered stagnant growth in science and technology due to lack of its own road map of science and technology during the last 50 years.
It was stated during the joint panel discussion of ministry of science and technology and ministry of public enterprises held yesterday that Ethiopia need to design road map that enables to guide the growth of science and technology sector.
The fragmented leadership system in science and technology sector has made Ethiopia not gain the appropriate benefit from the sector or the foreign currency, participants of the panel discussion said.
The road map is prepared to lead the science and technology it involves 20 institutions including 12 public enterprises, Walta learnt
