Delegates led by H.E. Mr. Daisuke Matsunaga, Japanese Ambassador to Ethiopia, have visited the Addis Ababa Light Rail Transit service on Friday, February 22, 2019.
On the occasion, Engineer Muluken Assefa, General Manager of the Addis Ababa Light Rail Transit Service, has explained about the company’s achievements and future prospects.
According to the General Manager, AALRTS is working hard tofulfil the public demand.
The knowledge and skill transfer to local staffs have been implemented successfully, he added.
Members of the delegation have raised different questions.
Engineer Muluken has provided explanations for the questions forwarded by visitors.
H.E. Mr. Daisuke Matsunagaand his delegates have also visited the Operation Control and Maintenance Centers and took a special ride from Menelik II Square to Kality.
Mr. Tamene Shimeles, Maintenance Centre Director and Mr. Bisrat, Operation Control Centre Manager have also briefed about their respective department day and night activities to the delegates member.
