The Agricultural Transformation Agency announced that it has collected a data that shows the fertility map of the soil in different parts of the country.
Agency Director, Kalid Bomba said that as per the data, the fertility rate of the soil in Kebele and Woreda level, and type of fertilizer that could tailor to specific soil distributed to the majority of regional states.
He said that the collection of this data is completed 95 percent, and will totally complete in sept 2019.
According to him, the aim of the data is to bring sustainable productivity in the country so that the farmers will get the benefit out of it.
