United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, Zeid bin Ra'ad Zeid al–Hussein, has arrived today in Addis and is expected to meet with various governmental and other bodies in his stay till Thursday.
The High Commissioner is today scheduled to meet with Commissioner of the Ethiopian Human Rights Commission, Dr. Addisu Gebre-egziabher.
He is also expected to meet with House Speaker, Abadulla Gemeda, the Prime Minister, leaders of political parties and the AU leaders.
The High Commissioner shall also meet civic society leaders and is to have an official press conference on Thursday.
