The Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE) said it has collected more than $1 billion remittance during the first quarter of this Ethiopian fiscal year.
It also mobilized about 8.3 billion birr private deposit, the bank said in a statement yesterday.
According to the bank’s 1st quarter reports, the private deposit position of the bank has jumped over 308 billion birr from 300 billion birr last fiscal year.
