ODP in talks to merge with two political parties

The Oromo Democratic Party (ODP) said it is in talks with two political parties for a merger deal.

This was announced by Taye Dendea, director of public relations office of the Central Committee of the Party.

The Party is in discussion with the Oromo National Organization headed by Kemal Gelchu and the United Oromo Liberation led by Aba Nega Jara for unification, he told FBC.

The discussion focused on how to finalize the deal, he added.
