Kagame arrives in Addis to attend SADC Double Troika Summit

Current Chair of the African Union and President of Rwanda Paul Kagame arrived in Addis Ababa today to attend the Southern African Development Community (SADC) Double Troika Summit.

Upon arrival at Bole International Airport, he was received by Dr Ergoge Tesfaye, Ethiopia’s Minister of Labour and Social Affairs.

The Southern African Development Community (SADC) Double Troika summit scheduled to take place today will review and assess the political situation in the DRC following the recently held elections.

The summit will later be followed by a consultative meeting of Head of States and Government of SADC Double Troika members, International Conference of Great Lakes Region (ICGLR); African Union Troika and the African Union (AU) Commission Chairperson.
