The Addis Ababa Police Commission said all necessary preparations are in place for the peaceful conduct of the 32nd Ordinary Session of the Assembly of the African Union (AU).
Deputy Commission of the Addis Ababa Police Commission, Zelalem Mengiste, said a command post composed of members from security forces and other stakeholders has been set up to ensure the safety of participants of the meeting.
The 32nd Ordinary Session of the Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the African Union (AU) will take place 10th-11 February at the African Union Headquarters in the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa.
The Summit will be held under the theme “Refugees, Returnees, and Internally Displaced Persons: Towards Durable Solutions to Forced Displacement in Africa”.
