Political parties look on ways to establish General Assembly, Joint Council

As part of the continuation of the dialogue launched two weeks ago, political parties is currently deliberating on how to set up General Assembly and Joint Council of national and regional parties.

They are deliberating on rules related to the establishment of General Assembly and Joint Council by members from all political parties.

Accordingly, political parties that were formed as a Front, an alliance and coalition will be represented by three leadership each in the General Assembly.

However, national and regional parties will be represented by two leaders.

The General Assembly shall be the governing body of the Council.

Similarly, each political party will be allowed to delegate one member who has equal saying in the Council.

The Council is tasked to follow up the implementation of rules and resolve disputes between political parties.
