Experts from different professions have gathered and started to discuss the issue of rule of law during transition at a roundtable named Addis weg and has been gathering many scholars since this year.
Meaza Ashenaif, President of Federal Supreme Court, and Muferiat Kamil, Minister of the Ministry of Peace are among the participants. The renowned philosopher Dagnachew Asefa is also attending the forum.

Dr. Dagnachew Assefa on his part explored the philosophical underpinnings of the rule of law, bringing to the fore the milestones achieved by the current administration in democratizing and the key challenges it is encountering.
Citing international reports that show Ethiopia’s progression in maintaining security and order in 2018 period, Federal Supreme Court President, Meaza Ashenafi, also highlighted the current transition from government using the law for its own purposes to working towards institutionalizing the rule of law.
