The newly established Ethiopian Citizens Social Justice Party has elected Professor Birhanu Nega as its leader and Andualem Arage as deputy leader.
912 of representatives of the party have voted for professor Birhanu to be head of it.
The party has also elected Yeshiwas Asefa with 722 votes to be its Chairman, and Dr. Chane Kebede to be Deputy Chairman.
The founding meeting of the party is attended by more than 300 representatives drawn from woredas of different regional states of the country.
