Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has sent a message of congratulation on the 28th anniversary of Eritrean independence.
In his message, the premier expressed his gratitude for the restarting of the ties between the two countries after years of standstill base on mutual interest and trust.
Abiy reiterated that the relationship between the two countries shall be sustained based on mutual benefits and interests.
Ethiopia, being committed to resolving challenges in the sub-continent mutually, wishes peace and prosperity to the people and government of Eritrea, he said.
