Oromo, Afar brotherhood, unity forum commences

Representatives of the Oromo and Afar people have kicked off a forum to cement brotherhood and unity between the two people in the city of Adama.

Elders, religious leaders, Aba Gedas, youth and higher officials of both regional states have attended the forum.

The forum is hoped to further strengthen people-to-people ties between the two regional states.

The afar representatives are led by Awel Arba, Chief Administrator of the Afar Regional State.

They had a warm welcome during their arrival in Adama by the Deputy Chief Administrator of Oromia, Shimelis Abdissa, and other high officials of the regional state.
