PM meets with foreign ministers of S. Korea, Finland

Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has today received foreign ministers of Finland and South Korea and discussed various bilateral matters.

Foreign Minister of South Korea, Kang Kiung wa, after meeting the PM said Ethiopia and South Korea have enjoyed years strong diplomatic ties and that is the reason she made Ethiopia her first destination in her Africa tour.

She vowed to further strengthen economic and social cooperation between the two countries.

Finland’s Foreign Minister Pekka Havisto on his part indicated that his country is working to strengthen development in the sub region.  

He lauded Ethiopia’s role in negotiating the parties in Sudan and coming up with the resolution to return the country to stability.

He also indicated that Finland is ready to work together with countries making effort to bring peace and stability in Sudan.

As part of the EU, Finland is also ready to support the reform in Ethiopia.
