The Central Committee of the Amhara Democratic Party (ADP) has nominated Temesgen Tiruneh as president candidate to replace the late Ambachew Mekonnen (PhD).
The party also has appointed Yohannes Buayalew as its Deputy Chairperson.
ADP’s Central Committee also picked Temesgen Tiruneh and Agegnehu Teshager, to be Executive Committee members of ADP and the Ethiopian People’s Revolutionary Democratic Front (EPRDF), respectively.
Temesgen Teshager has been serving as leader of different federal offices before his nomination.
