Benishangul, Blue Nile State Sign Joint Dev’t Cooperation Plan

The Benishangul Gumuz regional state and the Blue Nile State of Sudan have signed a development cooperation plan for the year to come.

According to a report by FBC, The plan was signed by Ashadli Hassen, Chief Administrator of Benishangul Gumuz and Major General Ahmed Abdurahim, President of the Blue Nile State.

The main objective of the plan is to ensure the development benefit of residents by maintaining peace in border areas.

In a meeting held yesterday, the two sides agreed to jointly tackle illicit trade, address conflicts, and strengthen security information sharing at border areas.
