President Sahilework Zewudie said that to help further the ongoing political reforms in Ethiopia, it is vital to ensure the rule of law so that peace and security will prevail.
A discussion forum themed, “threats and opportunities of the Ethiopian political reforms for peaceful political transition” held at African Economic Commission in Addis Ababa.
The forum attracted over 200 scholars drawn from different nations, politicians and other stakeholders.
The president stressed that the need to properly handle diversities that Ethiopia has in that she called participants to join hands in bringing a system that is conducive to diversities.
She also said that it important to work unity to past problems of the transitional period that we are in.
The president also stressed that economic development and change will come when ensuring rule of law produce peace and stability in the country
