PM arrives in Israel for official visit

Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (PhD) has arrived today in Israel for an official visit.

He is expected to be warmly welcomed by Office of Israeli Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu soon.

His two-day long visited is aimed at further fostering the diplomatic ties between the two countries.  

The Prime Minister is accompanied by Foreign Minister Gedu Andargachew and Defense Minister Lema Megersa.

Abiy is expected to meet with Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu and President Reuven Rivlin and discuss various bilateral issues.

The Prime Minister has also a schedule to visit the country’s Cyber Directorate and the Holocaust Martyrs Forest.

Ethiopia and Israel are working in cooperation in Agriculture, Irrigation, health, education, science, technology and innovation so far.
