Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed and his Israeli counterpart, Benjamin Netanyahu briefed the press on the bilateral relation of two countries.
PM Netanyahu said that his country will work in cooperation with Ethiopia in the field of security, technology, agriculture and cyber security areas.
He also said that he will work to help Israeli investors invest in Ethiopia.
Drawing the legend of “King Solomon’s visit to queen Sheba of Israel” to vindicate history of relation between two countries, PM Abiy said that two countries have strong relation in history, culture and religion in that the Ethiopian Jewish communities will serve as “ a bridge of relation between the nations”.
PM also condole Israeli over the death of three Israeli nationals who lost lives from Ethiopian plan crash.
He also thanked the Israeli for the deployment of firefighters when fire broke in the Siemen Mountains National Park.
