Following the declaration by the Saudi Arabian government that illegal migrants have to leave the country within three months, responsible bodies to repatriate Ethiopians there have indicated that they are making concerted preparations to receive the returnees.
A committee is established with members from both the federal and regional states to create suitable conditions for the returnees when they arrive back home.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has said that the committee is making utmost effort to contain possible challenges the returnees might face during their journey back home and create all the necessary inputs for their life here.
The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, Finance and Economic Cooperation Ministry, other federal and regional bodies are working together to address the issues in effective manner.
According to the data obtained from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the number of people returning from there are increasing from day to day that on average about 400 people are arriving here every day.
