President of University of Gondar, Dr. Desalegn Mengesha resigned from his post, Amhara Mass Media Agency reported quoting sources.
According to the Agency, Dr. Desalegn has secured a job in NGO operating in East Africa, which he said was a reason to step down as president.
In a latest Facebook note, he University also appreciated him for his 13 year contribution to the University.
