Addis Ababa, July 15, 2024 (Addis Walta) Ethiopia and Russia agreed to further strengthen their bilateral relations.
The Foreign Minister of Ethiopia, Ambassador Taye Atske-Selassie, received Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Mr. Mikhail Bogdanove, today at his office.
The two government officials conferred on mechanisms to boost their bilateral political and economic relations as well as regional, and continental peace and security matters.
In the discussion they underscored the need to deepen their cooperation in the BRICS framework.
What is more, Ambassador Taye pinpointed the need to scale up cooperation in technology transfer and capacity-building arenas, according to MFA of Ethiopia.
