Addis Ababa, June 13, 2024(Addis Walta) State Minister for Foreign Affairs Ambassador Mesganu Arga received the UK Special Envoy to the Horn of Africa and Red Sea, Alison Blackburne, at his office.
The two discussed bilateral issues of mutual concern, the latest developments in Ethiopia, peace and security issues in the Horn of Africa, and economic and development issues.
They exchanged views on how to strengthen the UK’s support for the efforts being made by the international community to ensure peace and stability in the Horn of Africa and to expand trade and investment in Ethiopia.
On the occasion, Special Envoy Alison Blackburne reiterated the UK’s commitment to supporting transitional justice and the national dialogue process in Ethiopia.
