Addis Ababa, July 8, 2024 (Addis Walta) Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed pointed out that the government has planned to cultivate over 24 million hectares of land this year using cluster farming.
He said “Cluster farming is expanding, with large-scale efforts underway to meet our farming targets this rainy season”
PM Abiy underscored that these efforts must be strengthened. “We plan to cultivate over 24 million hectares this year, racing against the rain to achieve this goal” he added on his official social media.
The prime minister underlined the need to embrace modern methods of farming for the success.
He added “These combined efforts will enable us to achieve food self-sufficiency.”
