Condominiums which are built in 10/90, 20/80 and 40/60 housing programs will be inaugurated tomorrow.
Mayor of Addis Ababa City Administration, Diriba Kuma, in his briefings to journalists yesterday said that 1,292 hoses in 40/60 programs and 39,220 houses in 10/90 and 20/80 are set for inauguration.
He added that out of the 39,220 houses of 10/90 and 20/80 housing programs, some will be transferred to those whose houses are demolished for development purposes.
Infrastructures of condos in 40/60 housing programs around Sengatera and Crown Hotels are constructed completely.
It was noted that infrastructures and other social sectors in some other sites like Bolearabsa, Koyefeche and Kilinto are being constructed.
Social life of those who are displaced for urban renewal purposes is also considered in order to continue their social interactions as it was before.
Once Commercial Bank of Ethiopia receives the 40/60 housing program houses, they will be transferred in the near future to those who have paid their part completely, it was noted.
Walta has learnt that the government has issued over 17.5 billion ETB to support the development of the housing programs .
