Ethiopian awarded certified 4-Star airline rating

The Ethiopian Airlines, Africa’s largest airline group, awarded the Certified 4-Star Airline Ratings by the Skytrax.

Certified Airline Rating is the global airline standards ranking program operated by Skytrax, the international air transport rating organization.

Ratings are determined through direct and professional analysis of quality standards.

The Certified Airline Ratings, recognized as a global benchmark of airline standards, are not related to customer reviews.

While receiving the certificate, Ethiopian Airlines Group CEO, Tewolde GebreMariam, said the recognition is a significant milestone in the long history of Ethiopian Airlines.

“As a customer focused airline, it is extremely gratifying that our hard work to ensure high level of customer satisfaction at all times through a consistent delivery of global standard product and superior level of service has borne fruit”, he said.

“4 Star Airline certification is one of the overarching goals and a critical successor factor of our 15 years strategic roadmap, Vision 2025” Tewolde added.

“Although we have been receiving many prestigious awards from all corners of the world for our superior customer services on the ground and in the air, this rating certifies the global standards of our products and service delivery through professional audits.”

The Certified 4-Star Airline Rating recognizes those airlines that provide good product standard across different travel categories, combined with delivering good standards of staff service for both the cabin service and their home-base airport environments. (ENA)
