Harari to execute over 174 mln birr projects

Harar, October 12 (WIC) – The execution of 79 new and existing projects would be carried out in Harari State with over 174 million birr this budget year, according to State’s Finance and Economic Development Bureau.

Bureau Head, Ahmed Abdosh, told WIC today that the projects would be implemented in 6 urban and 3 rural administrations of the state beginning this month.

According to Ahmed, some 49 of the projects are new, while the remaining are projects launched last Ethiopian budget. The projects are mainly focused on education, agriculture, safe water, health, road and urban development, among other.

Upon going fully operational by the coming June, the projects are expected to benefit some 200,000 residents of the state, Ahmed stated.
