S. Africa desirous to work with Ethiopia in agriculture extension, human resource dev’t: Minister

Addis Ababa, December 20, 2011 (WIC) – South Africa is desirous to work together with Ethiopia in the areas of agriculture extension and human resource development, the South African Defense Minister, Dr. LN Sisulu said.

While holding talks with Prime Minister Meles Zenawi here on Monday, the minister said Ethiopia has rich experience in the areas of agriculture extension and human resource development.

Dr. Sisulu said South Africa is keen to work in collaboration and share experiences in airforce training to further strengthen the existing bilateral relations between the two countries.

The Minister also said Memorandum of Understanding will be signed between the two countries in the near future regarding air force training.

PM Meles on his part said Ethiopia is ready to share experience with South Africa.

The two countries will organize a joint committee to undertake the training program and share best experiences, Meles said.

According to ENA, the two parties also discussed on various issues concerning ways how to strengthen mutual benefits.
