Nation set to mark 4th Ethiopian Cities Week

Addis Ababa, November 6 (WIC) – Preparations have been finalized for the 4th Ethiopian Cities Week festival due to be held in Adama town from, Oromia Regional State, according to the Ministry of Urban Development and Construction (MoUDC).

Ministry Public Relations and Communication Office Head, Kassahun Gofe, told WIC city marketing, panel discussion and exhibitions are part of the festival to be held from November 10-16, 2012.

He said more than 124 cities are expected to attend the festival to be held under the theme “Being an industrialist center, our cities realize the vision of the late PM Meles.”

According to Kassahun, the festival would help Ethiopian cities to share experiences among themselves the Ethiopian Cities Week jointly organized by MoUDC, Adama town administration, Oromia Industry and Urban Development Bureau and Ethiopian Cities Joint Forum.
