Addis Ababa, February 20, 2023 (Walta) – The 36th African Union Summit concluded without security problems, Ethiopia’s Joint Security and Intelligence Task Force announced.
The summit was held under the theme: “Acceleration of African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCTA) Implementation” from February 15 to 19/2023, in Addis Ababa, the political capital of Africa.
The Joint Task force in its press statement expressed appreciation to security forces, hotel owners and employees for their contribution to the same cause.
The Joint Task force was comprised of the Ethiopian National Intelligence and Security Service (NISS), Ethiopian National Defense Forces (ENDF), the Federal Police Commission, Information Network Security Administration (INSA) and Addis Ababa police.
