Eid al-Fitr celebrated in Ethiopia

Addis Ababa, 29 July 2014 (WIC) – The 1435th end of Ramadan, Eid al-Fitr, was celebrated across Ethiopia yesterday.

In the capital, Eid al-Fitr was celebrated at the Addis Ababa Stadium with various religious assortments.

Dr. Ahmed Abdurrahman, President of Addis Ababa Islamic Affairs Supreme Council on the occasion urged Muslims to intensify the fight against religious extremism and safeguard the Constitution.

He also called on them to be an active part of the ongoing development activities.

Eid al-Fitr is a holiday which Muslims celebrate with love and concern to one another.
