GCAO expresses its condolence to its citizens killed in Yemen

Addis Ababa, 22 May 2015 (WIC) – Government Communication Affairs Office (GCAO) expressed its condolence to those Ethiopians who lost their lives while sheltered in refugee camps in Yemen   by the Allied air strive in Yemen.

In a press statement GCAO said that five Ethiopians lost their lives, one Ethiopian seriously and another easily wounded.

According to the statement, Ethiopian government oversees the situation through Ethiopian Consular Office in Sena.

It also stated that the government requested the Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Addis Ababa for  urgent and full details on the air  strikes.

The statement also reminded that the Ethiopian government has repatriated over 3,000 Ethiopian refugees exposed to the recent crisis in Yemen, this killings incident happened on

the occasion exerted efforts to send back the rest of Ethiopian citizens in collaboration with Saudi Arabia.
The Ethiopian Government expresses its deepest condolences for the families of those citizens who lost their lives.
