Ethiopian, Djiboutian Afars should devote for peace, mutual development: Djibouti’s Minister of Culture

Addis Ababa, 03 June 2015 (WIC) – The people of Isse and Afar living in Ethiopia and Djibouti are brothers and the government of Djibouti will definitely encourage them enjoy friendly life.

In his congratulatory and honoring message to the Isse Ugaas, the 21 Sultan of Afar clan,  a former Minister of defense Sultan Habib Mohamef Lu’aite; Djibouti’s Minister of Culture Aden Hassan Aden Beleloo said that the two Afar people are brotherly people that Djibouti is determined to help them cooperate for mutual benefit and prosperity.

In his message the Minister also emphasized positive cooperativeness and commitment towards playing a significant role for peace, stability, friendly and brotherly cooperation between the Afars living in Ethiopia and Djibouti.

Mr. Aden Hassan Aden who paid a visit to the Ugaas this week in Dire Dawa, accompanied by other cabinet ministers congratulated Sultan Habib Mohamed and encouraged him to work for peace as the Isse king is highly respected by the people.

As the Isse clans of Djibouti shares border with Shinile and Afar regions of Ethiopia, Minister Aden Hassan Aden said that Djibouti will work hard to strengthen the brotherly relations of the Afar people in both countries.

Mostafe Mohamed Ibrahim who is based in Diridawa was assigned this week in Goba’ad under Dikhil regions administration; the well respected Ugaas of Isse clan is the head of all traditional leaders of Isse clan wherever they reside, WIC learnt

Isse Ugaas Mostafe Mohamed on his behalf promises to work hard on how the people of the two countries live friendly, peacefully and cooperate for mutual development.
