Djibouti’s Minister of Culture delivered Isse Ugaas’ message to Afar Sultan

Addis Ababa, 03 June 2015 (WIC) – Djibouti’s Minister of Culture Aden Hassan Aden Beleloo delivered a message from the Isse Ugaas Mostafe Mohamed Ibrahim to the newly assigned 21st Afar Sultan of Goba’ad, Habib Mohamed Lu’aite.

 

The message states that the people of Isse and Afar living in Ethiopia and Djibouti are brothers and promised to put a good cooperation of mutual work by the great well respected Isse Ugaas ‘Traditional King’ who is the head of Isse clan wherever they live in the horn of Africa but based in Dire Dowa, Ethiopia, Ugaas Mostafe Mohamed Ibrahin will definitely encourage them to enjoy friendly and peaceful life.

 

While presenting the congratulatory and honoring message from the Isse Ugaas to the Afar Sultan of Goba’ad Minister Aden Hassan Aden Beleloo said that the two Afar and Isse people are brothers and is determined to help them cooperate for mutual benefit and prosperity.

 

The message also emphasized positive cooperativeness and commitment towards playing a significant role for peace, stability, friendly and brotherly cooperation between the Isse and Afars living in Ethiopia and Djibouti.

 

Mr. Aden Hassan Aden, who has paid a visit this week to Dire Dowa and took the Ugaas Mostafe Mohamed Ibrahim’s message to the newly inaugurated Sultan in Goba’ad while accompanied by cabinet ministers to the occasion and also congratulated Sultan Habib Mohamed and encouraged him to work for peace.

 

It is known that the Isse and Afar clans of Goba’ad in Djibouti shares border with Shinile and Afar regions of Ethiopia. While the minister delivering isse Ugaas’ message to Sultan, the Sultan promised to work hard to enable the two clans live friendly and peacefully.
