Addis Ababa, June 2, 2015 (WIC) The 24th anniversary of May 28 is celebrated in Los angles town on May 30 with the participation of over 300 Ethiopians residing around the town.
Consular general of Ethiopia in Losangeles, Ambassador Zerihun Leta speaking on the celebration of May 28 day that martyrs eliminated the Dreg regime should be memorable for creating today’s pathway towards brighter, peaceful, democratic and developmental Ethiopia.
Deputy consular general, Weyzero Mebrat Beyene said on her part that women empowerment and rights are highly exercised and women has got socio, economic and political benefit in the nation is the result of the May 28 victory day.
Chair person of Great renaissance Dam (GRD) council in Losangeles , Jarsso Desta said that the contribution of Ethiopian community in Losangeles for Ethiopian development is encouraging and it should be continued.
