Addis Ababa, 03 June 2015 (WIC) – Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn has left for Sudan to attend the inaugural ceremony of President Omar Hassen al-Bashir.
Late last month, Bashir won re-election with 94 percent of the vote, extending his rule for another five years. This is the fourth time for al-Bashir to win elections.
President al-Bashir is in power since 1989 following a coup that ousted the democratically elected government of Prime Minister Sadiq al-Mahdi. (ENA)
