Gambella University intake capacity doubles

Addis Ababa, 19 June (WIC) – Gambella University says it has already finalized all the necessary preparations to double its intake capacity in the next coming fiscal year.
The President of the University Dr. Opio Umod told WIC that the university had received 500 students this academic year in Degree program.

According to the President, the university has planned to take 1,200 students in the coming academic year.
Currently there are some 1500 students who have been attending their education in the university, WIC learnt.

The president also noted that the university offers thirteen disciplines including Management, Marketing, Agriculture, Animal husbandry and Natural Science.
WIC learnt that the university was established in 2014.
