Authority collects and organized over 11,000 items of heritages

Addis Ababa, 24 July, 2015(WIC) -Authority for Research and conservation of cultural heritage (ARCCH) says it has collected and organized over 11,000 items of heritages in the last budget year.

Public and external relations head with the authority Fanta Teshome told WIC that the authority managed to collect and organized 11,788 types of heritages planning to collect and organize 15,170 historical, paleontological, pale anthropological, ethnographical and artifacts heritages in the last budget year.  
According to Fanta, the authority organized the collected heritages in the category of biology, age, finding place, types, behavior and size to prepare for further research activities.   

The recent prominent archeological findings in Weranso,Mele,Ledi and Gerare areas of Afar region indicated the trend of human evolutions, said Fanta, further researches are consolidated in Ethiopia.  
The studies undertaken over the ancient civilizations of the Axumite   period obtained tangible evidences that contributed a lot for the image building of the nation.
