Ethiopian Foreign Minister lays Diaspora square foundation stone

Addis Ababa, 13 August 2015 (WIC) – Ethiopian Foreign Affairs Minister, Dr. Tedros Adhanom, has lkaid Diaspora square and fountain  foundation stone in Addis around Megenagna.

The foundation stone laid by Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Tedros Adhanom, Mayor of Addis Ababa City Administration Diriba Kuma and  State Minister of Foreign Affairs Dewano Kedir.

During the occasion Dr. Tedros said that the government keeps its words and encourage the Diaspora by all its might adding that good governance and fast satisfactory service are focused to be exercised well.

He also calls up on the Diaspora to participate in all growth and development activities.

Driba Kuma in his turn said that the administration is intensively working to enable globally competent city in investment, trade and diplomacy than it was before.

The sponsor of the project, Zefmesh Private Company General Manager, Assefa Yohannes also said that the project is designed to reflect Addis as a capital of Africa and intends to consider the green development as well.

During the occasion Diaspora community, high government officials and stake holders were in attendance, Walta learnt.
