Ethiopia will ensure federal system with renaissance: Government

 

The Ethiopian Government Communication Affairs Office said that the 26th anniversary of Ginbot 20 will be celebrated with the theme, “a country that builds a federal system to ensure people’s equal and fair benefit.”

In a statement the Office sent to WMC today, the government said that it will work to ensure the federal system, which is fundamental to realize the renaissance journey. The system has enabled the nations and nationalities of the country to live in equality with a strong democratic system that respects self-governance and equality.

The statement also said that the federal system also ensure peace and stability as people enjoyed equal rights of developments.

The development the country exhibiting ensures fair benefit of the people, the statement also said.

In areas, where there were no infrastructure 26 years ago, people  are now  get access to education and health care facilities established on fairly basis, an effort which enable the country meet the SDGs set by the United Nations.

According to the Statement, the economic development the country has made which is usually involving active participation of people made the it crowned as African tiger or lion.

The Statement also said that the country infamously known for hunger 26 years ago, is now exemplified for fast economic growth  and diplomatically named as gateway of Africa  with efforts being made to integrate the east Africa region with infrastructures.

The country once a battleground for civil war is now speaker of African issues and peacekeeper in the continent, the statement said.

The statement said that country voiced the concerns of African nations in the Belt and Road initiative conference in China.

The federal system is a guarantee for the country’s sustainable social and economic development.
