The Executive Committee of Ethiopian People Revolutionary Democratic Front (EPRDF) said that it has evaluated its performance and that of the government to put in place future directions.
The Party said in a statement that it held a two days meeting in fall of August, where it has deeply evaluated the government and the party itself.
The meeting has pondered on deep reform program, which was launched last year in August and the achievement it has registered, and on issues the government shall focus on.
The party believed that the launch of deep reform program right and tackled the party from crossroad.
The statement said that the deep reform program relieve the struggle in parts of the members, which was slowed down at a certain point.
According to the statement, the State of Emergency Decree which was imposed last year helped the government ensure the economic development and make the people turn face to developmental activities.
The training has been offered to leaders to improve their capacity so that they could have developed stamina of best leaders in execution, the statement said.
The statement said the deep reform program has opened ways for public discussions, where issues of good governance got discussed.
The government worked and will work to absorb unemployment, which has been a challenged in the country, the statement added.
In addition, the statement said that the government has thoroughly look into measure took on corrupts, who embezzled the federal and regional institutions.
According to the statement, the government will in this budget year work to realize the plan set out in the second GTP and help the country join the category of middle countries.
