Border clashes enforce leaders look inward

The Government Communication Affairs Office announced that the clashes arisen related to border enforces the leaders of different levels look inward.

Office Head, Dr. Negeri Lencho, told a press conference that the leaders are expected to thwart moves, which go against sustainable peace and interest of the people amid earthly situations that are fundamental question of the people addressed constitutionally.

According to him, national defense forces, federal police, religious leaders and elders are being played their part to contain the recent conflict and avoid further escalation.

It was learnt that human right experts are investigating into the clash and will present to the House of Peoples representatives as soon as they finished compiling.

The office head also addressed the upcoming Irreecha, a cultural and religious holiday celebrated among country’s ethnic Oromos at a lake located 25km of South of Addis Ababa.

 According to him, the government already finalized preparation to help the people celebrate the day colorfully with all its cultural and religious values felt the revelers.

He said that the government addressed unemployment by budgeting 4 bln birr, which enable 1.5mln youths benefited last year.

The government wanted to grant the youth additional loan after hearing reports from the regions and city administration, he added.

He said that the government is working towards making the youth supporting themselves and their country, an effort which could be supplemented by nearly 50 universities.
