The foreign ministers of Ethiopia and Egypt have discussed to deepen their bilateral relations of the two countries.
Foreign minister of Egypt Sameh Shoukry said the joint press conference that Ethiopia and Egypt are interested to bolster their political and economic cooperation.
The two brotherly countries have the commitments to bolster their bilateral relations based on the mutual interest and benefit, said Foreign minister , Sameh Shaoukry , Egypt demands to increase investment and trade relations with Ethiopia .
According to Shaoukry, the Egypt, Sudan and Ethiopia have signed declaration principle to equitably utilize the Nile river based interests of the people of the three countries.
The national technical committee of the tripartite countries is established to fully implement the declaration of principles for the mutual benefit of Egypt , Sudan and Ethiopia , he underscored.
International recognized company responsible to study the impact of the GRD and compliance of the issue, said Shaoukry Egypt is ready to fully implement and reaching on agreement whatever the result of the study , he reiterated.
Epypt has provided a new proposal for Ethiopia and Sudan that enables to resolve any differences arises from three countries during the processes of negotiation, he stated.
Shaoukry noted that the proposal provided is demonstration of confidence and a degree of ability to reach on understanding and build confidence of the national committees .
Egyptian president had invited Prime minister Hailemariam to visit Cairo on the next January, Shaoukry Stated , the official visit will help to bolster the bilateral relations of the two countries in the sectors of economic development, investment , trade, pharmaceutical industries and industrial parks expansion, he inculcated.
Foreign affairs minister of FDRE, Dr Workeneh Gebeyehu onhis part said that Ethiopia and Egypt is currently working to enhance their people to people , trade , investment spheres and anti terrorism campaign .
