The House of People’s Representatives (HPR) has today sworn in the newly elected Chairman of the Ethiopian People’s Revolutionary Democratic Front (EPRDF) , Dr. Abiy Ahmed as Prime Minister of Ethiopia.
The new Prime Minister, Dr. Abiy Ahmed has officially received the Premiership from the hands of the outgoing Prime Minister, Hailemariam Desalegn, who presented to him the constitution and the national flag.
Dr. Abiy Ahmed has made an opening speech and raised many political, economic and social issues. Details to come soon.
