The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that Ethiopia is intensively working on border demarkation with neighboring countries.
Director, Border and Trans border Resources Affairs, Ambassador Shemsudin Ahmed, said that Ethiopia keeps on working and strengthening mutual development and win-win strategies with neighboring countries.
So far, Ethiopia and other neighboring countries have undertaken demarcation works around the borders except Eritrea.
Currently, Ethiopia is repairing marking points, it was noted.
Ambassador Shemsudin further said that developing borders will be strengthened in order to assure free movement of citizens.
Next ties will be undertaken according to plans presented by the Border Commission’s summits discussion, it was noted.
