The House of Peoples Representatives (HPR) appointed board members and chair for Ethiopian Press Agency.
The HPR made this appointment in its urgent meeting held today.
Alongside the pardon proclamation, which got ratified, the HPR appointed board members and leaders of the Ethiopian Press Agency as per Pro. No 113/1987E.C.
Accordingly, kassahun Gofe elected as board chiar while Jemila Shimbru, Abebech Shikata, Bekele Mulugeta, Yonas Asnake, Wondosen Andualem, Teka Abadi and Deacon Daniel Kibret elected as board members.
The appointees are sworn in office to carry out their responsibilities in proper manner.
