ADP elects 65 central committee members

Amhara Democratic Party (ADP) has elected 65 central committee members of the proposed 75 candidates in a conference held in Bahir Dar.

The Amhara National Democratic Movement (ANDM)  changed its name to ADP saying that rebranding the name is made to fit to the current political development in the Amhara region and in Ethiopia as a whole.

The party has elected many new members and retired long serving ones in a view to bring new change in the party so that it could change the life of the Amhara people.

The conference reelected chair of the party and  deputy prime minister Demeke Mokennen, and region chief Gedu  Andaragchew as a memeber.
