Seven opposition parties agree for mergence

Seven opposition political parties, which were operating in home and abroad, today signed an agreement enabling them to merge as one party after six months of acquaintance to each other.

They said that the mergence will help them become strong competitors in the country’s politics.

According to the parties, though each party has different ideologies, they have Ethiopian issues as common cause of working together with national consensus appeared to be started.

The seven parties, which decided to merge, are as follows;

  -Ethiopian Medihin Democratic Party

-Ethiopian Raey Party

-Ethiopian National Transition

-Biruh Ethiopia Democratic Movement

-Ethiopian Tinsae Democratic Party

-One Nation one People Ethiopiachin Hizbawi Movement

-Ommo People’s Democratic Movement
