The Oromo Democratic Party (ODP) has rejected the transfer of condos in lot method on last Wednesday saying that the pending Addis Ababa-Oromia region boundary issue has to first get a solution.
In press conference organized to brief on current issues, OPD said that on condos on which the region raised questions and built crossing the boundary of the region make it reach to a stand where the condos should not be transferred.
The party also said that it is working to ensure the holistic benefit of the people in that it has made achievements so far.
The Addis Ababa issue, which the party said agreement was reached in reform program so that issues will be answered in sequence.
It also said that this will not be against the interest of Nations and Nationalities.
The party also said that it will not accept activities done along the Addis Ababa-Oromia region without the consent of the region.
Apart from Addis Ababa issue and condos, the party will strengthen the already started works to makes sure the ownership of Oromo over Addis Ababa.
