Authority to build two water treatment plants

August 22, 2016 (WIC) – Addis Ababa Water and Sewerage Authority (AAWSA) has signed agreements with two enterprises for the construction of two water treatment plants at a cost of 700 million birr.

The Authority signed the agreements with Tsemex Global Enterprise Plc and Landustrie.

With a capacity to treat 20,000 cubic meter water per day, the construction of the two plants will be completed within a year, according to Tesfalem Bayou, Project Office Manager.
